The Social Justice and World Outreach Committee of Hamilton Presbytery of the United Church of Canada is holding a panel discussion on the Human Drama in Gaza photo exposition: 44 photos by Western, Israeli and Palestinian photographers of day-to-day life in Gaza during the Israeli offensive upon Gaza Dec 2008/January 2009. The panel discussion will take place Saturday, July 24, at 7 pm at The Sky Dragon Centre (27 King William Street). People from all walks of life and backgrounds are welcome to this presentation and dialogue on the role Canada plays in the conflict, what role Canadians can play, and how we can have this discussion without being considered anti-Semitic.
THE EXHIBIT’S MISSION On the initiative of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East, and in conformity with Canadian human and moral values, “Human Drama in Gaza” highlights the human suffering and agony of Palestinians in Gaza, and calls for the protection of human and humanitarian rights there.
