UC Berkeley:FINAL SENATE MEETING TO OVERRIDE VETO OF DIVESTMENT BILL
Come Support Senate Bill 118A "A Bill in Support of UC Divestment from War Crimes." The bill calls for divestment from GE and United Technologies because they manufacture weapons that were used by the Israeli army to commit war crimes in Gaza last January during Operation Cast Lead. This is the final meeting to override President Smelko's veto of a bill that originally passed 16 to 4. PLEASE come and show your support for a bill that has the potential to make history
