Limerick, Ireland: Public Meeting: #Gaza Freedom #Flotilla activist, Fintan Lane

Limerick IPSC are delighted to have Dr. Fintan Lane from the Freedom Flotilla speaking in Limerick. The meeting will take place on Friday 25th May at 8.30pm in the Absolute Hotel, Limerick.

Fintan, of the IPSC, was on board the Challenger 1 which was hijacked on Monday 31 May when the Gaza Freedom Flotilla was attacked by Israeli forces who murdered nine aid activists on the Mavi Marmara. This is a great opportunity to hear firsthand about that terrible night of massacre and abuse perpetrated by the Israeli military on people trying to bring aid to and show solidarity with the people of
Gaza living under illegal siege.

Fintan will talk about his experiences on the Flotilla, his time in Israeli detention, his mistreatment and what happened to the Flotilla in general. The meeting will discuss what practical steps Irish people can help take to bring about the end of the siege of
Gaza and Israeli apartheid as a whole and secure self determination for the people of Palestine. Central to this will be the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions campaign aimed at forcing Israel to respect its obligations under international law.

All most welcome, hope to see you there.
