USA, Brooklyn, NY: Flotilla: Fact, Fiction & the Law 22.9.10

Please join us on Wednesday September 9/22 to hear from an esteemed panel on the Flotilla crises, and the humanitarian crisis that prompted the mission.

Nine activists were shot and killed this past May when Israeli commandos raided the Gaza Freedom Flotilla. The Flotilla was headed to
Gaza and was carrying 10,000 tons of aid for the besieged civilian population of Gaza. On board were 663 people from 37 countries, including activists, authors, film-makers, politicians and journalists. The incident prompted widespread international condemnation and prompted demonstrations around the world. UN humanitarian chief John Holmes calls Gaza the world's largest outdoor prison.
