IPSC Public Meeting: Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions - Building on our Global BDS Victories

Public Session of the IPSC Annual General Meeting 2010

The public session of the IPSC AGM this year will concentrate on the global Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions victories that the global BDS movement has scored recently, and will discuss how best to move this campaign forward, locally and globally.

The meeting will take place on Saturday 19th June 2010, at 3pm in The Teachers’ Club, 36 Parnell Square, Dublin 1. It is open to the public.
Speakers
Mick Napier, Chair of the Scottish Palestine Solidarity CampaignKamel Hawwash, Vice-Chair of the English Palestine Solidarity Campaign
Incoming IPSC Chairperson

While this meeting was planned months ago, the Israeli attack on the Gaza Freedom Flotilla which left at least 9 people dead, has given added impetus to the subject, as Israel finds itself at the receiving end of a tide of increased BDS actions. The IPSC encourages all those who want to take practical action to end Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians people - and now their international supporters – to attend this session and get involved in the BDS campaign in Ireland.
