In December 2009, Palestinian Christians called on all people of the world to actively support and work for a just peace for Palestinian people.
Rifat Kassis and Constantine Dabbagh, Palestinian Christians from the West Bank and Gaza, speak from their living experience in Palestine today, where they live under Israeli Occupation and work non-violently for justice and a lasting peace.

Rifat Kassis was born near Bethlehem and is the Facilitator of Kairos
Palestine, the call by Palestinians to the world to recognize and to act on the continuing injustice and violence that is being inflicted on Palestinian people living under Occupation.

Rifat has long been involved in Christian efforts for peace between the peoples of Palestine and Israel.

Constantine Dabbagh, born in Jerusalem and a refugee in Gaza, is the Middle East Council of Churches Executive Director for services in Gaza.

His personal example and professional dialogue of justice, peace, security, mutual understanding and reconciliation has seen him consulted during critical negotiations between political factions within Palestine and between Palestine and the international community.
